Beard's Creek

Canoe and kayak rentals allow you to experience the magic of Beards Creek, a wonderland of ancient bald cypress, live oak and gum trees shrouded in spanish moss.  This intimate blackwater "creek" connects deep lakes (former river channel) for leisurely half day trips (2-4 hr).  During higher water, the creek covers the"forest floor" and is exciting to explore by canoe or beginner kayak.  Great photo-op's.   Fishing, for which the camp was established, is great by canoe or kayak in the back water lakes and sloughs.

RATES
Canoe and  Kayak Rentals:  $15 per person per day.

Cabins:  $20 / $25 with access to showers and laundry facilities.
Cook Houses:  $12/18 (6-12 seating) with Stove, Frig and Sink.
Camping:  $5 per tent with access to showers and laundry facilities.
